Opening keynote by Dirk Van Damme

 

We are pleased to announce Dirk Van Damme (PhD) will be the opening keynote at the EAN 2019 conference. 

Dirk Van Damme is currently Head of the Innovation and Measuring Progress Division (IMEP), which covers both the Centre for Educational Research and Innovation (CERI) and the Indicators of Educational Systems (INES) programme, in the OECD Directorate for Education and Skills.

He was responsible for developing and implementing policies focusing on equality of opportunity in education and the implementation of the Bologna Declaration in Belgium.

His current interests are evidence-based innovation in education, comparative analyses of educational systems, open education and quality issues in higher education. At the OECD he is also the Directorate’s focal point for the OECD’s Inclusive Growth Initiative.

Call for papers update

We are really delighted by the high quality of proposals and the diverse range of subjects coming in.  All proposals are being double-blind peer-reviewed by our Programme committee. People who have submitted a proposal will hear from us very soon. Deadline for submissions is May 15.
