Adult Learning Australia (ALA) | Adult Learners Week, 1-8 September - #ItsNeverTooLate

This year's #ALW2023 theme encourages people to seize the moment and take advantage of opportunities to learn something new, whatever their age, background or previous educational history.

There’s no use-by date when it comes to learning. Re-engaging with learning as an adult offers plenty of life-changing moments. There’s the thrill of discovering hidden talents, the satisfaction of learning new skills, and the excitement of imagining a new and different future.

That's why it's so important to get your #ALW2023 events registered on the Adult Learners Week website. Plus if you register your event/s before 4 August 2023 you will have the chance to win 1 of 20 x $200.00 grants to support your #ALW2023 event.

Register your event

This is your chance to promote the important work you do engaging adults into learning programs that can transform their lives.

Celebrate your learners

Adult Learners Week is also a great time to celebrate your learners. There are 3 x $1000 #ALW2023 scholarships on offer for outstanding adult learners so they can continue learning by taking a new learning pathway or continuing on an existing one.

We are inviting adult education providers around Australia to nominate a learner whose commitment and motivation makes them stand out from the rest.

Check out some of our previous winners for inspiration. It's so easy to nominate your adult learners, so get your applications in as soon as you can.
