The 26th annual conference of the European Access Network (EAN) will take place September 20-22, 2017 at the Justus-Liebig-University in Giessen, Germany. It is hosted by ArbeiterKind.de, Germany´s largest network for first generation students. The overall conference theme is ‘Sharing stories of empowerment: Creating new strategies for diversity and inclusion in higher education’.

We are taking on a new and interactive approach to our conference. We want you at the centre of it, so we can share even more and give better visibility to everyone's work.

We will be inviting an experienced conference facilitator to ensure a fruitful exchange between participants in all parts of the conference, through new interactive formats.

Keynote Speakers

We are delighted to have Prof Eileen Drew from Trinity College Dublin as a keynote speaker at the conference. An expert in gender issues, she will be sharing her strategies in achieving diversity in higher education
