Lifelong Learning, Young Adults and the Challenges of Disadvantage in Europe

A new Open Access book presents the results of the major Horizon 2020 project, ENLIVEN: Encouraging Lifelong Learning for an Inclusive & Vibrant Europe within which CR&DALL core member Professor Ellen Boeren was an investigator. Chapters in the book discuss main insights from the project, which was led by Professor John Holford, Robert Peers Chair of Adult Education at the University of Nottingham. The two chapters of the book were co-authored by Ellen Boeren are entitled: Participation in Adult Learning: ‘System Characteristics and Individuals’ Experiences’ and ‘Gender Gaps in Participation in Adult Education in Europe: Examining Factors and Barriers’. The book can be downloaded for free from the Springer Link website.
