TEMPUS Project Seminar: Third Age Learning in Scotland and the UK

News

Professor Michael Osborne, Director of CR&DALL and a Co-PI within the Urban Big Data Centre (UBDC) was delighted to be able to present initial findings from the Integrated Multimedia City Data (iMCD) project within UBDC to a members of a EC funded Tempus project, Third Age Education, at a seminar hosted by project partner, the University of Strathcyde.

Delegates were drawn from Azerbaijan (Baku Eurasian University and Qafqaz University), Italy (University of Genoa), the Russian Federation (St.Petersburg State Technical University of Plant Polymers and Volga Region State University of Service) and the Ukraine (Donetsk State University of Management and Volyn Institute for Economics and Management, Lutsk), as well as Scotland.

The local co-ordinators were Val Blissland and Rob Mark. The excellent full programme arranged by the University of Strathclyde is attached.

CR&DALL associates, Bonnie Slade and former Glasgow University student within the Msc in Teaching Adults, Humera Qazi, also presented.
