The 2014 Annual Meeting of the Community Development Society will focus on effective community development strategies, programs, and policies - fostered by CD practitioners, academics, elected officials, development organizations, organized citizens and motivated individuals - meant to inspire a Renaissance in communities around the world.

Be it in the areas of economic development, health, education, local facilities/services, transportation, natural resources management or more, the Dubuque conference will provide an ideal setting for CDS members and guests to explore the renaissance of our communities -- rural and urban -- toward a better understanding of what creates and sustains them as places that both retain and draw residents seeking well-being.
