Professor Kasworm is the W. Dallas Herring Professor in the Department of Leadership, Policy and Adult and Higher Education (LPAHE). Her area of expertise is adult undergraduate students in higher education, with recent research examining adult participation patterns, adult learning engagement patterns, and institutional responses within the contexts of community colleges, adult degree programs, and research universities. Dr. Kasworm has provided recent scholarly contributions as co-editor of the 2010 Handbook of Adult and Continuing Education as well as served on the editorial boards for the Adult Education Quarterly,Journal of Continuing Higher Education, Journal of Transformative Learning, and several other journals.
