Summary biography: 

Research interests: Adult education, primarily popular education. Studies have been carried out about the importance of activities for participants (in campus form and distance education form using ICT aids), of study circle leadership, of flexible study forms, and of the importance of popular education for democracy and for the (local) community.

Teaching interests: Education teacher for the child-care programme, the adult track of the upper-secondary teaching programme, in externally financed courses, and components of courses in the P programme. Lecturer at seminars arranged by popular education organizations.
