Summary biography: 

Virve Kallioniemi-Chambers works currently as a project manager in the EU 7th Framework research project EURA-NET and in the Horizon 2020 research and innovation project EduMAP at the School of Education, University of Tampere (Finland). She acts also as the second supervisor in the Marie Curie ITN project TRANSMIC, which is coordinated by the Maastricht University.  Her PhD in education (2010) encompasses the patterns and tensions of temporalities of national and international educational projects in higher education. She has long experience in national and international research collaboration and in participatory educational development work in higher education projects.
