CR&DALL (the Centre for Research and Development in Adult and Lifelong Learning), the School of Education at the University of Glasgow and its partners would like to invite you to an international seminar to launch the Strengthening Urban Engagement of Universities in Asia and Africa (SUEUAA) project funded by the British Academy under the Cities and Infrastructure programme, which is part of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).

The ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU) is a 2-week experiential learning journey and “Interdisciplinary Innovathon” to foster cross-cultural exchanges and networks among the ASEM youth. ASEFSU takes place annually, each year tackling a different theme of socio-political concern within Asia and Europe. The project offers students and young professionals the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on contemporary issues and propose concrete solutions to societal challenges.

Due to requests from colleagues, we are pleased to announce that we have extended our deadline for the Call for Papers to Friday 8th December for our 5th Open University Widening Participation Conference ‘Is Widening Participation to HE enough?’ taking place on 26th & 27th April 2018 in Milton Keynes.  We are very interested in receiving academic or innovation practice papers as well as posters based on the following themes:-
