After the great success of the previous HEAd conferences, which received submissions from 51 countries, we are pleased to announce the Fourth International Conference on Higher Education Advances (HEAd'18). This conference is an excellent forum for researchers and practitioners to exchange ideas, experiences, opinions and research results relating to the preparation of students, teaching/learning methodologies and the organization of educational systems.
Just a reminder that the following workshop on 6th March 2018 is being organised in conjunction with FACE. The cost is £99 and there is a 10% reduction for staff working at universities which are FACE members, so please could you consider attending yourself and circulate the following around your own institutions to relevant staff.
Welcome to December news, the final for 2017. This month brought us both good and bad news from Canberra. Finally, we had a positive outcome for the Same Sex Marriage Bill which was passed on 7 December. A great achievement for equality in this country and one, which demonstrates the power of a strong social movement to influence and change Australian law to make our country a fairer place.
