A new age for learning: Future directions for digital literacy for senior women

The Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Strathclyde would like to invite you to the upcoming conference, A New Age for Learning: Future directions for digital literacy for senior women.  The conference is focussed on influencing European policy on the need for older women to have wider access and better provision of digital literacy training.

International Literacy Day 2015: Literacy and Sustainable Societies

UNESCO invited around 100 partners, representing governments, civil society, universities and other stakeholders from around the world for a Global Meeting to discuss achievements made, and look into the way forward to cope with a situation where more than seven hundred millions youth and adults are denied the human right to literacy.

Winter School: Comparative Studies in Adult and Lifelong learning

We are happy announcing the Winter School 2016 on Comparative Studies in Adult and Lifelong Learning from 3.-12 Februray 2016 on campus Würzburg in Germany.

As we have requests from several international colleagues, with whom we will organize a parallel programme for professors in adult and continuing education, too.

SCUTREA's 2016 Conference - 5-7 July, University of Leicester

We thought you might like to know about the new web site for SCUTREA's 2016 Conference, 'Adult Education in Austere Times'. This conference will be held at the University of Leicester's College Court Conference Centre from 5-7 July. The site has been kindly set up by our conference collaborators for next year, the Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning at the University of Leicester, and we are delighted to be working with them.
