The Second International Conference on Barriers and Enablers to Learning Maths follows the highly successful 2015 conference (see photo below). The British Academy has just announced the successful applicants to its new Cities & Infrastructure research funding programme, and we are pleased to announce that one of these projects is being led from the University of Glasgow with Professor Michael Osborne, Director of PASCAL and Director of CR&DALL, as the Principal Investigator, and Dr Muir Houston, Dr Lavinia Hirsu, Dr Kasia Borokowska and Dr Neil Burnside all as co-investigators.
Unfortunately, due to ill-health, the Lalage Bown event scheduled to take place 4 October - Adult Education: Past, Present and Future - has been CANCELLED. We hope to reschedule this in the near future.
