The Call for Papers is now open for SCUTREA's 2016 Conference, 'Adult Education in Austere Times'

We're delighted to let you know that the Call for Papers is now open for SCUTREA's 2016 Conference, 'Adult Education in Austere Times', which is being organised in collaboration with the Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning, University of Leicester. The conference will take place at the University of Leicester's College Court Conference Centre from Tuesday 5th until Thursday 7th July 2016.

Researching the Micro and Local in Widening Participation Practice: Seminar 2

The aim of this series is to ground and contextualise discussions of widening participation, which can often be spoken of in largely abstract terms, in considerations of the local and micro practices of WP by focusing on two large and complex cities (Sheffield and London) and on Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland which face different challenges in relation to WP and to the idea of the ‘local’.
