We hear of a lot of city titles, and CR&DALL susbcribers may be interested in one of the titles used here in Glasgow - the Nurturing City. From its first meeting in Geneva, in 1993, the Life History and Biography Network of ESREA has been a forum for a wide range of researchers, including doctoral students, drawing on different disciplinary backgrounds, and coming from every corner of Europe, and beyond.

Around 1500 participants joined the Forum with more than 100 Ministers in the lead, UNESCO and other UN sister bodies, a huge variety of stakeholder, and around 25 delegates from civil society.
