This is our Second Call for Papers for the XVI Annual International Conference of the Bulgarian Comparative Education Society (BCES) that will be held in Golden Sands, Varna, Bulgaria, 11 – 15 June 2018. The Conference theme is: Education in Modern Society.
Please find featured here and attached, a presentation from the CR&DALL seminar delivered by Dr. Tzu-Hua Huang, Department of Education, University of Taipei, Taiwan on 31st October. Those who attended were treated to an excellent account of his work, and the extra treat of augmented reality, including virtual pumpkins!!
Although employees in low-skilled jobs are as likely as any others to express an interest in receiving training, they actually submit significantly fewer applications for training. How can this gap be explained? While a wish to receive training goes hand in hand with employees’ perception of their career prospects, in conjunction with their aspirations, the submission of applications for training is determined more by companies’ practices.
