UALL DFE Consultation on Part-time Maintenance Loans – UALL Draft Response

Please find attached the draft response to the above Consultation, which has been discussed by the England Strategy Group, chaired by Tony Ellis.

Community Development in a Contested Society

Sinéad Gormally, Helen Martin and Bonnie Slade organised 31 students from the BA in Community Development, MEd in Community Learning and Development and the International Masters in Adult Education for Social Change to go on an educational study trip to Belfast in November 2016. The students visited a range of community based projects - including communities of interest and geographical communities.

Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) Network Successes

We are pleased to report that CR&DALL core members, Mia Perry and Bonnie Slade, within the School of Education has been successful in an ESRC-funded Global Challenges Research Fund network bids. The project will be led by Mia Perry as PI with Bonnie Slade as one of the Co-Is.
