Many subscribers have an interest in the service role of universities, and it is evident to me from a number of meetings during 2013 that work within Latin America deserves a wider audience. I therefore provide details of the most recent newsletter of the Centro Latinoamericano de Aprendizaje y Servicio Solidario (CLAYSS) based in Buenos Aires. A two day seminar was held in Ioannina, the capital city of Epirus (Greece) on the 16th & 17th of December 2013. The event was co-organized by the Greek General Secretariat of Lifelong Learning and the University of Ioannina.
