We are looking for three PhD students to join the GCRF Centre for Sustainable, Healthy and Learning Cities and Neighbourhoods (SHLC) at University of Glasgow. We want to remind you of the 27th European Access Network Conference that will take place next month, June 6-8 2018, in The Hague, The Netherlands. The host of the conference is The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the conference theme is Qualitative Accountability to Achieve Access, Success and Inclusion in Higher Education.
EU-Speak is an eight-year national project (2010-2018) that has worked to make a difference in the educational outcomes for migrants with little or no education. The partners have reached nearly 1000 international LESLLA teachers over the last three-years with our free online modules. Earlier this year a group of 14 University of Glasgow Community Development students and 2 staff members got the opportunity to travel to Japan to participate in the Fukushima Ambassadors Program XII. The program was organised and hosted by Fukushima University’s International Centre and Japanese Government which provided a fantastic opportunity for both sets of students to share learning and create new possibilities.
