The Inclusive Prosperity Commission is a major policy project of the Chifley Research Centre, the think tank of the Australian Labor Party. Since its launch in 2014, the Commission has been exploring the threat to Australia’s future economic growth presented by growing inequality – and new policies to respond.
We invite proposals for presentations and workshops for our next national conference taking place on Wednesday 8th March 2017 in Stirling. The proposals should meet the aims of the conference to share good practice, learn from each other, network, create new ideas for future intergenerational work and demonstrate how to successfully embed and sustain this work.
AJAL promotes critical thinking and research in the field of adult learning as well as the theory, research and practice of adult and community education. It has been published for over fifty years and covers a wide range of topics of interest to those in adult education.
In this edition researchers turn their attention to examining how initiatives to widen access and participation in higher education, which has been a central policy aim in Australia for nearly a decade, are playing out.
