A one day seminar hosted by the Digital Education group in the School of Education, University of Edinburgh and the School of Education, University of Stirling, and supported by funding from the journal Pedagogy, Culture and Society and SRHE.
The provision of higher education in further education colleges (HE in FE) is now an established part of a diversified system of HE in England. The suggestion in recent policy discussion is that participation in HE in FE should be encouraged as a high quality vocationally-oriented alternative to university HE.

Scotland annually discards more than half a million tonnes of food waste every year, much of which would be edible. At the same time, food insecurity remains a short term problem and a long term strategic issue over the globe.
