Alan Rogers Memorial Lecture

On 2 December at the University of East Anglia, there was a memorial event for one of the greats of adult education, Professor Alan Rogers, who died earlier in the year. We are very pleased that CR&DALL core member, Professor Simon McGrath, was able to present his reflections on Alan's contributions. We attach an extract from his keynote address with Anna Robinson-Pant on Alan’s wider legacy.

The next CR&DALL seminar will be held on 7 December at 1030 GMT in hybrid form at the University of Glasgow’s Advanced Research Centre, Room 5125 and online.

It is being led by Professor Robbie Guevara, President of the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE),  and is a reflection on UNESCO’s CONFINTEA VII conference in Morocco. We are very fortunate to get this opportunity to hear from Robbie, who is a very engaging speaker, bringing huge expertise to bear on the issues to be discussed.
