Joint CR&DALL and CLIP in-person event: Culture, Literacies, Inclusion and Pedagogy (CLIP) Research & Teaching Group, University of Glasgow and CR&DALL are delighted to welcome an esteemed group of educational and thought leaders from across the world to bring critical and pivotal conversations to our community this month.
Within this field of inquiry and practice, CR&DALL in partnership with the Sustainable Futures Global Network and the School of Education at the University of Glasgow are taking forward a number of interrelated research and innovation initiatives. These include:
A forthcoming book: When words are not enough: Toward a pluriversal literacies education that sustains us (Perry, M. forthcoming, Routledge);
A research project Renewing Literacies Education for Sustainable and Equitable Futures;
The establishment of a Global Literacies Hub hosted as part of the Sustainable Futures Global Network.
The notion that we miss basic information on the systems of adult learning and education is repeated again and again. DVV International and its partners are trying hard to overcome that situation for the generation robust data as well as qualitative research findings to enable better monitoring. They have succeded very well with their work in Armenia, Bosnis & Hercegovina, Georgia and Kosovo.
