I am pleased to inform you that the European Commission has published an analytical report entitled The Impact of COVID-19 on Higher Education: A Review of the Emerging Evidence, which our colleagues and I at IDE prepared on behalf of the Network of Experts on the Social Dimension of Education and Training (NESET).
We are very pleased to announce that Erasmus International Masters in Adult Education for Social Change (IMAESC) student, McRhon Banderlipe, has just published his first co-authored book chapter, entitled Resilience and Growth: A University’s Response for Future-Proofing Graduates and Careers. The Adult Education in Global Times conference will take place 3-6 June 2021. Originally scheduled for June 2020 at the University of British Columbia campus in Vancouver, the event will now happen online. The conference hosts presentations from active adult education scholars across the world including a number of researchers from CR&DALL.
In the first edition of 2021, we have a diverse range of articles representing adult learning in higher education, adult education and its capacity to prevent poverty, and an article on older adult learning.
The EIS recently completed Phase One of our Scottish Government funded Anti-Poverty Professional Learning Programme for teachers. Having done so, we wish to draw your attention to our resulting report ‘Joining the Dots on Poverty: Putting Professional Learning into Action’.
