I am very sorry to have to report that Professor Peter Jarvis passed away on 20th November 2018 after a long illness. There can hardly be anyone in the field of adult education who has not heard of Peter or read his work. He was probably the most well-known academic in the field, and a larger than life figure who lit up many conferences around the world both academically and socially.
You are invited to give papers at the 11th Researching Work and Learning (RWL) conference, 24 – 26th July 2019, Justus-Leibig- University Giessen in Germany coming up this summer and we warmly encourage all our colleagues to consider participating.
