The UALL Conference has a reputation for offering opportunities for practitioners and researchers to present their work to the academic community. Proposals are invited on any of the strands of the conference theme. They may describe and discuss innovative developments and practice, and/or empirical or theoretical research. You are encouraged to take into account your own working context when submitting your proposals. Proposals are welcome from those working in different countries and learning contexts.
This Winter School will consider theories and methods relevant across the field of educational policy research. It is designed for PhD students, postdoctoral fellows and researchers of policy in all areas of education, but is suitable also for advanced master students. The School will include an explicit focus on policy related to higher and adult education, but the specific content of activities will be developed in the light of the participants’ profiles.

For 25 years since its first meeting in Geneva, the Life History and Biography Network (LHBN) of ESREA has been a forum for a wide range of researchers, including doctoral students, drawing on different disciplinary backgrounds, and coming from every corner of Europe, and beyond. Our conferences are based on the recognition and celebration of the diversity of methods, approaches and epistemologies in biographical research.
