2nd PROFIT Project Newsletter

The PROFIT project aims at creating a web platform for promoting financial awareness and improving the financial capability of citizens and market participants. More than a year has passed and the PROFIT team has been occupied with researching, designing and implementing the platform, as well as presenting the project in various events and conferences.

Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS) - Legacy Resources & Final Event

The Opening Educational Practices in Scotland (OEPS) Project was funded for 3 years from Summer 2014 until Summer2017 and ended on the 31st July.  The project had a focus on the use of open education in widening participation and lifelong learning. There is an extensive collection of free courses, reports, briefings, case studies and workshop design that are all openly licensed and available for use and reversioning that will be available beyond the end of the project on 31st July 2017. 

DigiMaths Project Event 31st August

Erasmus+ Maximising the opportunities presented by digital technologies in numeracy teaching. A free blended webinar to present the findings of the Erasmus+ DigiMaths project.

OFFA Research Project Report - Understanding the impact of outreach activity for mature learners with low or no prior qualifications

You may be aware that a recent research project was commissioned by OFFA to explore approaches to outreach for mature learners with low or no prior qualifications. The research was carried out by the Open University in partnership with Birkbeck University of London, the University of Leeds and the University of Bristol. UALL was represented on the steering group for the project.
