Many of you will have heard Professor Linden West discuss lifelong learning at our AGM last year.  I am delighted to let you know that he has been invited to deliver the inaugural lecture for the Open Lecture Series 2021 from Canterbury Christ Church University.

We are very pleased to announce that CR&DALL core member, Dr Mia Perry is the co-investigator for a new British Academy project funded within the auspices of the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF). The project is entitled: The Art of Transdisciplinary Research Communications: Sustainable Futures in Writing. Zoe Strachan (School of Critical Studies at the University of Glasgow) is the Principal Investigator and Professor Olusola Ajibade from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria is also a co-investigator. The project is described below.

Nic Dickson selected for Universitas 21 Real Impact on Society and Environment Award

Nic Dickson, part-time PhD student with the School of Education, has been shortlisted to represent the University of Glasgow at the Universitas 21 (U21) RISE (Real Impact on Society and Environment) awards.
