Lastly in our updates from the ASEM LLL Hub, we are delighted to announce the upcoming network development conference of The Research Network on Workplace Learning (RN2), entitled, Work and Learning in Changing Social Landscapes. This event will be held at the University of Innsbruck from 15 to 17 November 2023.

The RN2 is dedicated to advancing the field of workplace learning, and our network development conferences are a cornerstone of our mission to foster collaboration, knowledge exchange, and meaningful discourse among researchers, educators, and practitioners in this domain.

Conference Focus:

1. What we have learnt about the future resilience of initial and continuing vocation education systems and institutional arrangements for workplace learning under conditions of external shock (drawing on insights from the pandemic);
2. Emergent fields and issues in workplace learning in Asia and Europe, including (a) technological and pedagogical innovation (especially digitalisation) in workplace learning (b) empowerment in and through workplace learning.
