CR&DALL says thank you to outgoing Director Mike Osborne

This month sees a significant moment in CR&DALL’s history, with the retirement of Director Professor Mike Osborne.

Mike has been the driving force behind CR&DALL for a long time, shaping its activities and foci and using his immense energy and impressive networking skills to make sure that CR&DALL plays a role in R&D in Adult and Lifelong Learning, broadly understood, worldwide. As I take on the mantle of the Directorship, I want to express our thanks to Mike for all of his contributions.

Of course, Mike will not disappear from the scene, and we can expect to benefit from his experience and knowledge for some time to come (perhaps occasionally whether we like it or not!).

CR&DALL will organise an event to celebrate Mike’s contributions to the field in the 2024/5 Northern Hemisphere academic year, so keep your eyes open for updates on this.

More news about plans for the next year will follow soon, but in the meantime, heartfelt thanks and all the best to Mike from new Director Anna Wilson and all CR&DALL colleagues.
