Our vision is to connect the access community around the world so that the cause of access and student success for those underrepresented at the post-secondary level will gain its voice, momentum and capacity for impact, positively transforming student opportunity at the global and local level.

Invitation to Participate

The GAPS mission is to build a global, engaged & collaborative access community that will champion post-secondary education for all and transform student opportunity. Our vision is to connect the access community around the world so that the cause of access and student success for those underrepresented at the post-secondary level will gain its voice, momentum and capacity for impact, positively transforming student opportunity at the global and local level. I would like to invite you to participate in our work.

Here are three opportunities:

First, we have a GAPS Think Piece Series (http://www.gaps-education.org/news-events/closing-gaps-thinkpieces/), which is targeted to develop and articulate the global issues around access to postsecondary education. Think Pieces provide a unique opportunity to share knowledge and experiences with the global access and success community, but also to provoke and to challenge the thinking in the community. Think Pieces are an open format, with maximum of 4-5 pages, including a paragraph about the author and the organization behind and as well a list of references (APA citation style preferred).

Second, you can participate in the ‘Why GAPS?’ awareness raising campaign. The campaign aims to increase visibility for the global access and success community and concerns and issues related to postsecondary education access & success. Please take a look at the published campaign pictures are accessible at FacebookLinkedInTwitter or our Webpage. Being part of the ‘Why GAPS?’-Campaign is as easy as one, two, three:
One, you need a high quality picture of yourself
Two, you need to list your affiliation.
Three, you need a short sentence answering the question ‘Why GAPS?’

Third, GAPS is building a library of books and articles which may be of interest to organisations and individuals committed to post secondary education access and equity. To view content already submitted by the GAPS Community, please visit the GAPS website. If you would like to add to this library, please send us the book/article title and author. Links to articles will also be accepted.

If you are interested in participating in the GAPS Think Piece Series, the 'Why GAPS'-Campaign or you would like to add to the GAPS online library please send us an Email,  tweet @GAPSEducation or contact us via FacebookLinkedIn or the GAPS webpage

We are looking forward to hearing from you!

With best regards,
