As an editorial board member of the new journal, Asian Education Review, I am writing to ask you to consider submitting articles for publication in future issues of the journal.
AER is a new journal edited by the distinguished Korean economist and education policy expert, Professor Chon Sun Ihm, and supported by the Korean Education Research Association. It is a fully peer-reviewed journal with an international editorial board which is seeking to publish articles on all aspects of education from scholars around the world.
As a newly launched journal it obviously does not yet have an Impact Factor rating but I am confident that it will develop into a successful journal with a strong presence in comparative education, particularly in Asia.
AER is keen to receive high quality submissions on all aspects of education, including articles
- with mixed-method and inter-disciplinary approaches
- using comparative methods
- focusing on prominent contemporary education issues in different regions around the world.
It may be particularly attractive to authors who wish to publish articles beyond the length normally allowed by journals (articles up to 10 000 words are accepted). The editor will also accept revised and updated versions of already published work of particular significance which may be attractive to authors wishing reach new readers.
The journal published its first issue earlier this year (attached) and is preparing two further issues for 2018.
The first of these is open to all topics; the second will be a special issue themed around issues to do with higher education participation and funding and graduate outcomes.
Submissions may be made to:
