Out now in Quest: adult education creating opportunities, rebuilding lives and reducing recidivism a

Welcome to our first issue of Quest for 2023 featuring stories and news about life-changing adult education programs around Australia.

In Sydney, Odyssey College, the educational arm of Odyssey House NSW, is helping people struggling with addiction to rebuild their lives through adult education.

In Victoria's Yarra Valley, a pre-accredited bike maintenance course is upskilling locals to participate in a cycling-led business boom.

In Queensland, an education program is nipping youth crime in the bud, re-engaging young people with education and keeping young Queenslanders on track.

In Quest we feature stories about how people develop confidence to take on challenges and overcome disadvantage through adult education. And how the organisations behind these kinds of programs are working to improve the lives of people in their communities. Quest also includes updates and news from our members and the adult community education sector around Australia.

You can read the current issue, browse back issues of Quest or find individual articles in the stories section of our website.

I hope you enjoy this issue.
