Registration now open: What is 'global' about global higher education? 24/4/17

Lancaster University, as part of the CGHE, is organising the first ‘Key debates in higher education’ seminar - What is ‘global’ about global higher education? - which will bring together leading international academics in the field and is particularly interested in the following themes:

  • How we theorise the global; and its relationship to the empirical;
  • The interplay between different disciplines to study the global and its relation to higher education research;
  • The relationship between academic work and the world of policy and practice;

This international seminar aims to deliver engaging and interactive sessions with ample room for discussion.

The speakers include: Rosemary Deem, James Faulconbridge, Eva Hartman, Bob Jessop, Simon Marginson, Chris MuellerleilePauline Ravinet, Susan Robertson, Sam Sellar and others.
