How can the UK and Europe work together towards healthy ageing?
Join us and the Department for International Trade (DIT) on Thursday, 22 November for a virtual event exploring how the EU and UK can work together on healthy ageing.

Speakers include:
  • George MacGinnis (UK Research and Innovation)
  • David Sinclair (ILC)
  • Linda Magee PhD OBE (Department for International Trade)
  • Nic Palmarini (National Innovation Centre for Ageing)
  • Martin Huber (WHO Regional Office for Europe)
Both the UK and EU have made commitments towards supporting healthy ageing - from the EU’s Green Paper on Ageing to the UK’s Healthy Ageing Paper, but what happens next? And how do we maximise these opportunities going forward as we build-back from the pandemic?

At this high-level discussion webinar, we will be launching new papers on the economic opportunity of longevity across European countries, and discussing what it means to age healthily as well as how the UK and EU can collaborate on supporting healthy ageing.
