We are pleased to announce that the third AoC College HE Research and Scholarship Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 27 June 2017 in Birmingham.
Continuing from the success of the previous College HE Research and Scholarship Conferences, the 2017 conference will present and discuss emerging models of research and scholarship and showcase the work undertaken by college HE practitioners and students.
Keynote speakers at the conference include…
- John Lea, Director, HEFCE/AoC Catalyst Fund Scholarship Project
- Leesa Wheelahan, William G. Davis Chair in Community College Leadership Ontario Institute of Studies for Education, University of Toronto
- Dr. Alex Zahavich, Vice President of Corporate Development and Applied Research, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology
This year’s themes:
- Students as partners in learning
- Colleges and employers working in partnership
- Developing the Professional and Technical Education Curriculum
- Developing college HE teachers and managers
We welcome contributions and abstracts to this year’s programme. More details can be found on the abstracts submission page. The deadline for submissions is Friday 5 May, 5pm.
The Second Research and Scholarship in College HE Conference publication offers papers, presentations and posters from last year's conference.
There is a special early booking fee for AoC member colleges – just £165 + VAT. Student-researchers can attend for just £45+VAT.
