New issue of CONVERGENCE is out

One should applaud the University of Malta UNESCO Chair on Global Adult Education and the International Council for Adult Education (ICAE) that they took up the initiative to bring CONVERGENCE - AN INTERNATIONAL ADULT EDUCATION JOURNAL back to life in 2022. It had been published ever since the late 1960s, and stopped for about a decade.

The new issue (please find attached) opens with an Editorial by Peter Mayo, followed by the interesting account of Marjorie Mbilinyi on her understanding of developments in Tanzania during the last 50 years where she has actually been a witness; the article is based on her presentation during the Nyerere festivity of the Global Chair last year. Two reflections on education for sustainable development for policy-makers (Hili and Pace) andeducationlar education and well-being (Timothy Ireland) follow. Chris Duke continues with more personal reviews on the developments of adult education and lifelong learning in the context of organisations like ICAE and journals like CONVERGENCE and the PIMA Bulletin. In memoriam and book reviews close this issue.
