I'm glad to announce that Laura Formenti from Milano Bicocca University, Italy, is the new chair of ESREA and Adrianna Nizinska, University of Lower Silesia, Poland, is the new vice chair.

As the Secretary and on the behalf of ESREA, I want to thank Henning Salling Olesen, Roskilde University, Denmark, for his years as the chair of ESREA. During his years as chair he has worked hard to promote the research on adult learning and education in Europe and he has also been a very active participant in many of ESREA research networks and conferences.
