The 9th Nordic Conference on Adult Education and Learning constitutes a meeting place for researchers, policy makers, organisational leaders, and practitioners. Speakers, plenary debates, and paper sessions will explore how adult education can turn todays' challenges into new opportunities and support the development of societies where new possibilities are generated.
The conference programme incorporates a wide variety of local as well as national and international educational projects on adult learning, including Director of CR&DALL, Professor Michael Osborne as one of the keynotes. Group sessions, symposia and plenary debates will be interspersed with internationally renowned key speakers representing the variety of learning that is connected to adult education.
Already, a significant number of paper presentations, roundtables and symposia have been submitted. For attendance please register as soon as possible and no later than the 15th of March. Note that the date for submission of abstracts is extended to the 1st of March. For other dates see call for papers on our website.
The local committee informs participants that whatever the pandemic situation is in May, NAEL 2022 will not be cancelled. The Norwegian national health authorities have just published an official report with a prognosis for lowered Covid spread during the spring. If Norwegian health authorities are proved wrong and a new pandemic surge makes travelling and congregating impossible, we will as a very last resort hold an online conference.
