Start the year with the perfect validation refresher. This webinar will go back to the basics of creating good quality assessments, covering:

  • The difference between validation and moderation
  •  What information is needed to validate a task
  •  Who should be involved in validating tasks
  •  The processes after tasks have been validated

This webinar, facilitated by Chris Tully from Melbourne Polytechnic, will suit educators just starting out in their careers, or just starting to move into accredited delivery, or for those needing a refresher on validation.

ALA Webinars are FREE to ALA Members. Cost to Non-Members is $50, payable online.

Chris Tully currently coordinates Literacy and Numeracy support at Melbourne Polytechnic. She has worked in Foundation Studies for 24 years and during this time has worked on a number of projects including been a member of the advisory group for the re-writes of CGEA Numeracy units,  Chairperson of Project Steering Committee (PSC) for the reaccreditation of the Certificates in Initial Adult Literacy and Numeracy(CIALN) and participant in the re-write of ACSF Numeracy units.
