The Association of Colleges (AoC) are pleased to announce that the second AoC College HE Research and Scholarship Conference will be taking place on Tuesday 28 June 2016 in Birmingham.
Following the popularity of the first College HE Research and Scholarship Conference in June 2015, the second conference will present and discuss emerging models of research and scholarship and showcase the work undertaken by college HE practitioners and students. This year’s programme will include presentations from over 50 college HE practitioners/researchers and ten poster presentations.
 
Keynote speakers at the conference include:

  • Martin Doel, Chief Executive, AoC and FETL Professor of FE and Skills at UCL Institute of Education
  • John Lea, Director, HEFCE/AoC Catalyst Fund Scholarship Project
  • Jens Lautrup Nørgaard, Head of Development, Zealand Institute of Business and Technology, Denmark

This year’s themes are:

  • Students as Partners in Learning
  • Colleges and Employers Working in Partnership
  • Developing the Professional and Technical Education Curriculum
  • Developing College HE Teachers and Managers
