The School of Education is delighted to invite you to a lunchtime seminar on Social Network Analysis (SNA).

SNA is an underused method in educational research. In this lunchtime seminar Chris Downey, University of Southampton will will reflect on his experiences of experimenting with the technique and offer an introduction to using SNA in educational settings. This method has interesting applications for mapping relationships and interactions within, between and beyond schools and is an approach which we are in the early stages developing within the School of Education. Come and see for yourself the potential of this important method. It might be an approach which you could use in your research?

Chair: Chris Chapman, University of Glasgow
