Recently CR&DALL informed on a major event in German adult education to take place from 20 - 21 June 2022 in Leipzig, with the title "vhs 2030: Together in Diversity. Sustainable. Connected". The 15th Adult Education Conference (Volkshochschultag) will provide opportunities to look at the adult learning and education agenda just a few days after the UNESCO World Conference, CONFINTEA VII, in Marrakech 15 - 17 June.

The International Review of Education. Journal of Lifelong Education has just published an article which may help to understand the German system better by digging deeper into the 100-year history of the local system of adult education centres and the 50 years of DVV International and its cooperation globally, with a comparative lens also.
