Dr Ria Dunkley and her team working on the Ecopedagogy for accelerating a city-wide just energy transition in Glasgow project are advertisinng for 10 PhD students.
Effective ecopedagogy is an essential aspect of just energy transition, which requires us not only to think about individual and household behaviour change outcomes but also to involve communities in critical conversations. Into this emergent ecopedagogy, consideration needs to be given to issues of social and environmental injustice related to energy transition and to associated environmental risks. Enhancing energy understandings could play a vital role in improving community participation in a just energy transition.
