Neurodiversity Resource Hub

As part of the Wellcome Trust ISSF project titled "Supporting and Promoting Neurodiversity in the Workplace", project lead Leigh Abbott and the multi-disciplinary team at Glasgow: Chris Halsey, Peter Hastie, Elliott Spaeth, Karin Oien, Margaret Sutherland, and David Simmons have created a Neurodiversity Resource Hub for all staff and Postgraduate Research Students to use.

The hub covers information on the definitions that fall under the umbrella of neurodiversity; inclusive and accessible practices; support for neurodivergent staff and PGR students; and navigating working relationships between colleagues, manager and employees, and supervisors and PGRs.

Although this project originated in Cancer Sciences at the University of Glasgow, it is applicable to all UofG staff and PGRs. Margaret said “this has been an exciting project to be part of. It has brought together a range of experts from MVLS, LEADs and Education and the result is the production of a resource hub for staff and PGRs that will help us to promote inclusive practice making for a more diverse, accessible University”.
