Opportunity to work with the British Council and Kabul University, Afghanistan

The British Council Country Director in Afghanistan has contacted Nadira Mirza of UALL to inform her that the Kabul University is establishing a Women's Studies Department and is seeking support.

This is a significant step for an Afghani university to take and Nadira has been asked to recommend some UK universities who might have equivalent departments and who would be willing to offer support/mentorship to the academics in Kabul. Previous work with Afghanistan has mainly been via email, skype and distance learning programmes.
