HEFCE’s Teaching Excellence and Student Opportunity Strategic Advisory Committee (TESO SAC) advises and supports HEFCE's Board in addressing policy and funding priorities relating to teaching excellence and student access, success and progression to further study or employment.

HEFCE is currently recruiting committee members to its Strategic Advisory Committees and an advert has been placed on the Guardian’s website. The TESO SAC is looking to recruit a number of committee members who have knowledge and expertise in the  following areas:

• Employer perspectives on higher education
• Perspectives of providers of higher education outside the publicly funded sector
• Graduate employability and higher level skills (including apprenticeships and work-based learning)
• Part-time and flexible higher education provision.
