Open Call for Asian and European Students: 21st ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU21), Australia & New Zealand, 27 Jan - 10 Feb 2018

News

The ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU) is a 2-week experiential learning journey and “Interdisciplinary Innovathon” to foster cross-cultural exchanges and networks among the ASEM youth. ASEFSU takes place annually, each year tackling a different theme of socio-political concern within Asia and Europe. The project offers students and young professionals the unique opportunity to deepen their knowledge on contemporary issues and propose concrete solutions to societal challenges.

The 21st ASEF Summer University (ASEFSU21) will focus on the topic “Youth with Disabilities: Shaping inclusive ASEM Societies”.  ASEF will organise ASEFSU21 in partnership with Swinburne University of Technology (Melbourne, Australia) and the University of Canterbury (Christchurch, New Zealand) from 27 January – 10 February 2018.

We have just launched the Open Call for Application. We welcome students of all academic disciplines and mixed abilities. In line with our mission to provide education opportunities for young people, participation in the ASEFSU is funded by ASEF and its project partners. Please find enclosed the Open Call materials (pdf and word file formats for better accessibility) and below the email announcement for easy distribution. The deadline for applications is on Sunday, 10 December 2017.
