Delegates at this seminar will assess the challenges for universities and colleges in expanding part-time and mature student recruitment, following the dramatic drop in applications last year, as well as looking at issues affecting such students throughout their time at university.
It is timed to allow reflection on the UUK review into part-time and mature study that called for sector-wide promotion of part-time learning, more on-campus support for evening students, as well as greater flexibility in course provision and funding models. Those expected to attend include key policymakers from Government alongside university mission groups, university leaders and student services, graduate recruiters, student unions, alternative providers of education and other interested parties.
