Please find attached details of the relaunch event of the Paulo Freire  Institute-UK (formerly London Paulo Freire Institute), based at the  University of Roehampton, London.
The keynote speaker is Professor Carlos Alberto Torres, Director of the  Paulo Freire Institute (PFI) at University of California, Los Angeles  and International co-Director and co-Founder of the PFI-UK. Speakers  will also include Professor Gill Crozier and Professor Mathias Urban,  University of Roehampton.

This will be followed by the launch of Professor Torres¹ new book:  First Freire: Early Writings in Social Justice Education (Teachers College  Press). Professor Roger Dale, University of Bristol; the book launch  will include a wine reception.

The event will be held at University of Roehampton, Froebel College,  Grove House on the 6th of June 2014. Refreshments are at 4:30 for a 5  pm start.
